But they won’t be alone, because he’s also nabbed Dr. Cortex and his cronies. Faced with the threat of Earth’s destruction, both teams submit to his whims. Dr. Cortex and his team of evil plan to defeat Velo in the final showdown and return to Earth as its conquerors. But they’ll need to get past Crash and Team Bandicoot, who are on a mission to thwart Team Evil - and return home in time for a nap. 18 playable characters including favorites Crash, Coco, Crunch, Cortex, Tiny, and N.Gin. Power Up adds offensive combat - for those who need more obstacles. Challenging race modes: Adventure, Arcade, Time Trial, and others. [Nokia]

Critic Reviews

82 IGN
With all eighteen racers, a slew of tracks, and several gameplay modes, you're going to get some serious mileage out of the game.
71 Console Gameworld
It’s a nice, solid game that unfortunately suffers problems because of the N-Gage’s design.
71 PGNx Media
Crash Nitro Kart has solid gameplay and is a lengthy affair but the combination of the narrow screen, close-up perspective and control issues bring the game down a few notches.
70 Next Level Gaming
The game is fun and colorful. While the screen size and the size of the characters does make you a bit frustrated at times, the game is still very fun to play. And after a while you will know the tracks and it may become less frustrating, but it is still a big pain.
69 GameSpot
The gameplay is fundamentally solid, the graphics are sharp and run smoothly, and there's just plenty of stuff to do, both in the single-player and multiplayer modes. But the narrow field of vision has a dramatically negative effect on the whole experience, cross-canceling many of the game's positive traits.
65 GameZone
The variety of courses, power-ups, and the decent sense of speed are not enough to make up for a camera, which literally makes you feel sick.
60 AceGamez
Crash Nitro Kart has a lot here and if it wasn't for the poor, restricted racing view, I would be very much inclined to give it a higher score.
60 Thunderbolt
A game perfect for killing short time intervals, especially for people who get bored easily.
30 GameSpy
The chuggy framerate makes for erratic maneuvering to begin with, and the tunnel vision of the screen will have you constantly wondering, "What the hell is going on here?"
30 GamerFeed
Despite some great modes to explore and decent graphics, comes to a halt with its slippery gameplay and stunted speed. Honestly, you'd have more fun racing snails.
