Unless your eight-year-old has an affection for Legos that borders on obsession, you don't need to bother with this title. [Jan 2004, p.141]

The difficulty is too high for novices, but experienced platformer fans will enjoy the challenge. [Jan 2004, p.159]
47 GameSpot
All the wonder of the Bionicle universe has been bled dry by a vapid design and an atrocious camera system.

And yes you did read that right, there are just six measly levels. Which disappointingly explains the reason that tasks (or rather chores) such as mini- bosses and end of level fights can be extremely tiresome and the wrong side of difficult.

The adventure is also far too short and easy -- you can complete the entire game (100%) in less than two hours -- even while struggling with some counterintuitive (because of control) levels.
