There's enough killing to satiate even the sickest soul and the baddest gangster, and there's hours' worth of high quality music to listen to while you do it.

The core gameplay isn’t balanced or rewarding enough to warrant a purchase, but it will more than suffice for a weekend of mindless action.

Cheat Code Central
More style than substance. This package is little more than a collection of his tunes, a reprisal of the movie and some generic gaming fodder that we've all seen and played in other games such as "Max Payne," "Dead To Rights," "True Crime" - that do it much better.

The core gameplay here is nothing that hasn't been seen before and done better a million times.

Basic combat just isn't very fun. [Feb 2006, p.104]

Pelit (Finland)
A bland-looking, sub-par action game with a wide variety of problems. The bonus materials are otherwise good, but the censored music videos make little sense. [Jan 2006]

Fiddy moves so slowly that you want to reach into the TV to pull up his pants so he can break into a run once in a while. [Feb 2006, p.80]

The actual gameplay mechanics blow. The's game's targeting and camera system is about as skittish as the Howells' from Gilligan's Island would be at the Vibe Awards.

This third-person action game might sound like a great idea if you're a fan of 50, Yayo, Buck, and Banks, but with its poor gameplay and worse attention to the G-Unit license, Bulletproof disappoints on all fronts.

50 Cent: Bulletproof just isn’t any damn fun. Due to laggy controls and a horrible targeting system, death is imminent almost any time you go against an enemy, especially some of the bosses that have far better weapons and cheaper tactics than you.

Electronic Gaming Monthly
The targeting system is useless, the levels are bland and filled with countless invisible barriers, and the camera is so hard to manipulate in tight spaces that you'll often end up staring right at 50's face as he gets ventilated by the dozen enemies he just can't see.

You want 50's music? Buy a CD. Grab a DVD if you want to see the guy move. But if you want to pretend to be Curtis Jackson, take your fifty bucks out to a paintball range and let someone drill you nine times. It'll be a better experience than this.

The calibre of game you might well produce having been shot three times and then stabbed. [Jan 2005, p.91]

At the end of the day, what you’ll find in the box is a bunch of nice extras that are packaged with a horrible batch of code that barely qualifies as a game.

Michael R. gave it a0:
Bad graphics, controls, and flat out bad gameplay.it was mad wack.

Chappy gave it a4:
i really think that this game focus's to much on 50's music more then the game play, i think that the graphics for this day n age r 1 of the worst i have seen, as well as the options of using the camera mode r fairly poor aswell i think that the game should have been worked on a little longer.

Bigl gave it a2:
Controls are terrible and 50 is slow as hell. Istopped playing after 10 minutes.

John L. gave it a2:
Bad visuals, ludicrous story, 5.1 sound problems, repetative and boring.

Glenn W. gave it a5:
I feel this game lacks smooth movment throughout the game,,, seeme that there are some glitches in in the game,,,possible patches soon to come in the near future, which would help. Also hate the blue colour on the cross hairs for the enemy,,,hard to make a clear choice to make a true shot,,and that the gun site is too glitchy, very frustrating when trying to kill in quick responce when there are several enemies all over you.
