The overall horseracing experience is built around a fairly unadventurous career story that sees you go from riding school to the big races, providing plenty of challenge along the way. It’s pleasant enough, if you like that sort of thing, which is probably the best way to sum up G1 Jockey 4 2008 as a whole.

The time it takes to get your head around the controls makes the whole experience feel more like a chore than fun and the payoff isn't worthwhile enough that I can recommend sticking it out for the necessary time.
