Pocket Games

EA has managed to shrink down everything that makes the console version of Woods great, including tons of challenges, multiplayer play and even unlockable content. [Summer 2004, p.19]

A must-have for any N-Gage owning golf fans. I have no doubt that anyone who enjoys this sport will be pleased with combination of new and old professionals and the style of play presented. The rest of you gamer types might even find the simple, no-jargon approach to one of the world’s most famous games entertaining.

The best game available on the N-Gage has arrived and its name is Tiger Woods 2004...Not only looks great, but it plays well and feels like a complete winner all around.

It makes clever use of Arena, provides both quick thrills and long replay, and can be enjoyed by just about any kind of gamer. I loved Tiger 2004 on consoles, and I anticipate playing a whole bunch of this version as well.

The addition of online play was a great idea since it adds much replay value to the game.

The controls were adapted from the console version analog sticks, and it doesn’t translate as well on a digital pad, it gets the job done but it is not too precise.

It's still highly accessible like the console versions and the licensed courses add a great deal of authenticity to the title.

The game’s visuals are very impressive, and certainly surpass that of the game’s Game Boy Advance counterpart.

Not a hole in one, but practise does make perfect!

Its online support could certainly use some work and the gameplay needs tweaking before it's a genuinely engrossing experience, but until the 2005 edition, N-Gage owners who enjoy golf should check this one out.

A landmark game for Nokia's fledgling platform, since it's the first N-Gage game to offer real-time online competition, which also makes it the first N-Gage game with an appreciable advantage over its Game Boy Advance counterpart.

Game Informer

Getting your swing down on fairway drives can be difficult because of the handheld's d-pad. I appreciate attempting to bring an analog swing to the N-Gage, but the pad has little feel to it. [July 2004, p.123]

The sound may drive you nuts, and the swinging of the club may take a little practice, but otherwise, you'll have a good time taming this Tiger.

This is the best one. I have over 7500 hole of golf on this game is any one up for an online game.
