As good as it gets when it comes to platform games. I even like this game better than "Super Mario Advance."

Looking good doesn’t hurt the game, but it’s RA’s accessibility that makes it a game that every fan of platform gaming should have. There’s a sense of fun about RA.

It will take you a while to beat this game. And even when you've beaten it, you still haven't beaten it until you go back and rescue all the little Electoon dudes. So, replayability is good.

This port of the PlayStation classic is easily the most beautiful looking game in the GBA launch lineup, with huge, colorful, and astonishingly well-animated characters and backgrounds.

The only real complaint that can be lodged against this port of the game is that its camera is zoomed in too close to the action.

Graphically, this is the finest game we've experienced on the new handheld console and once you've seen some of the incredible character animations, you won't know whether to laugh or cry in sheer amazement.

SamTheOzzy gave it an 8:
Make no mistake this game is *hard* and there will be times when you want to throw down your GBA in frustration. However Rayman is an absolutley classic platformer with plenty of variation and huge reply value.

Hannah DS gave it a 9:
If you enjoyed the original Rayman game for the Jaguar, PC etc you'll love this game. It small enough to fit in your pocket and it takes HOURS to finish. You don't get tired of the colour and energy, and while there are some 'leaps of faith' involved you can get the hang of the game play easily. In responce to B. S. being a 'true gamer' doesn't make you the god of all game knowlage, and Rayman Advance is fun for all ages and levels of skill (a great game for a player novice like me!).

B. S. gave it a 4:
All you do is throw fists that's it you can duck and jump and do what ever mario can do. The music is great untill you find there's only 2 or 4 songs in the game! if you go through this site you'll find a couple of reviews I'm a true gamer and I know what I'm talking about.
