RPG lovers take note: Avatar is one of the few original (read: not a port) action/RPGs made for the system.

Although it doesn't break any new ground, the Avatar's foray on the GBA is a lively action adventure that offers a solid mix of combat and puzzles.

For players that are looking for that Avatar experience, go try the Nintendo DS version. This game is kind of fun, but it certainly isn't the Avatar that so many people adore.

Jeremy B. gave it an8:
The game was fun overall and had some challenging puzzles to solve but the vast majority of the game was very easy. The exception was the very end where you have to outrun two "tank drills". That part of the game is nearly impossible and frustrating. My characters died two or three times up to that point and then I probably tried 50 times to finally get it right to get to the final boss. Other than that though it was a decent game, not nearly as good as the cartoon but decent enough for a weekend.
