GamePro
Has it all—Spider-Man not only looks, sounds, and plays remarkably well, but it also places you firmly in the comic-book world of its hero.

AllDreamcast
Definitely worth a purchase. Now if only Spiderman could defeat Sega and bring an end to its evil plan to end production of the world's greatest game system.

IGN
Good fun for anyone with a Dreamcast that hasn't played the PlayStation version and if you can get past the confusing camera and controls, you'll have a swinging good time.

DC Swirl
It isn't perfect or fully taking advantage of the power of DC, but "Spider-Man" is a single-player action adventure no self-professed fan of the character can afford to miss.

Total Video Games
Technically the game is superb, whilst the graphics may not seam that impressive for a Dreamcast game, they do create that comic book atmosphere.

Planet Dreamcast
Graphically, Spider-Man is quite impressive. Treyarch, the company behind all of Neversoft's Dreamcast conversions, has outdone itself on this title.

Happy Puppy
While the camera problem cannot simply be swept under the rug, it doesn't destroy the game's overall playability and replayability (getting the Symbiote Spidey outfit is a blast).

Da Gameboyz
Control is generally good and the sound really helps out. Unfortunately, I cannot overlook the sometimes overly sensitive camera and the instances when the aforementioned control does become confusing.

Gaming Age
Control is tight and players should have no problem getting into the swing of things.

Daily Radar
This is a quality title, and rather unique in its execution -- it's been a while since we've been able to dive into an all-action title with such ease. The web-slinging alone makes this game worth your attention.

Game Revolution
I used to be a certifiable comic book nerd, so seeing Daredevil, the Human Torch, Carnage and many other Marvel greats is a real treat.

GameShark
There are some instances though when you just want to rip the game out and throw it across the room due to some crappy camera angles, which keeps it from getting a higher overall score. It's the best Spider-Man game since the original Genesis game, which is saying quite a lot.

GameSpot
The Dreamcast version of the game is definitely the best one yet, though there really isn't enough in it to warrant a new look from those who've played the previous versions.

GamerWeb Sega
Presented well with solid cinemas, nice Spider transitions and an interesting plot. The so-so graphics and poor camera conspire against him.
