Now "House of the Dead 2" and "Virtua Cop 2" freaks can once again pull out their light guns for this arcade port where they will assume the roles of Confidental Mission Force agents battling against terrorists who have made off with satellite operating system technology.

IGN

Terrific visuals, excellent gameplay features, and lots of style will have Dreamcast "agents" uncovering the secrets of Confidential Mission and loving every minute of it.

Although the length is a bit disappointing, "Another World" and the Agent Academy do help keep things interesting beyond the (very fun) main game.

Hot Games

The two biggest knocks against Confidential Mission are the aforementioned lack of real innovation and the game’s short length. You can finish the game in about fifteen minutes.

Sega has the lightgun shooter formula down to perfection with Confidential Mission as you're bombarded by terrorists coming at you from every direction with guns blazing.

DC Swirl

If you enjoyed "Virtua Cop" or "HOTD" in the past, and have $20 and a light gun to spare..."Confidential Mission" is your next trip down the videogame aisle. It's as simple as that.

Electric Playground

Will be warmly received by those jonesin’ for a hit of simulated gunplay mayhem. For the rest of us, it’s a worth a shot then best forgot.

Attempts to bring back to the DC the excitement that HOTD2 gave us and, as we all know, it's not 1999 anymore, and the Dreamcast is no spring chicken.

You shoot the enemies and there is no blood. Pretty bad. The lack of control and cheesy storyline make this game a rental only title.

Good:fps very very cool, good graphics,excelent gameplay bad:the game is short, the finish no understand.

HOT SH... It felt like I could sleep with MY partner after we beat the game. I personally like how everyone comes out at you, Guards, cops, priests; all while the annoying fatman is still popping junk running away. Definitely good if you're riding purple hills...Or Just crunked up.
